Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 21, 2026

1. Subscription Cancellations

When you cancel your Pawdara Premium subscription, your Premium access continues until the end of your current billing cycle. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time remaining in your billing cycle.

Example: If you are billed on the 1st of the month and cancel on the 15th, you retain Premium access until the end of that month. You will not be charged again and no refund is issued for the remaining 15 days.

This policy applies to both monthly and annual pet owner Premium subscriptions unless otherwise specified below.

2. Clinic Subscription Refunds

Veterinary clinic subscriptions (Starter, Growth, and Hospital plans) are subject to the following refund policy:

During the 90-day free trial period:

No charges are made and no refunds are applicable.

After the trial period ends:

Monthly clinic plans follow the same cancellation policy as pet owner subscriptions — access continues until end of billing cycle with no prorated refunds.

Annual clinic plans:

Are not eligible for prorated refunds for unused months.

The 48-hour new subscriber refund policy does not apply to clinic subscriptions. Clinic refund exception requests may be submitted to support@pawdara.com within 30 days of the charge in question.

3. Free Trial Clarification

Free trial periods for clinic accounts (90 days) are provided at no charge. No refunds are applicable during free trial periods as no payment is collected.

4. 48-Hour New Subscriber Refund

If you subscribed to Pawdara Premium for the first time and meet all of the following conditions, you are eligible for a full refund:

  • You request the refund within 48 hours of your first subscription payment.
  • You have not used any Premium features (PDF exports, recurring reminders, family sharing).
  • You have not added more than 1 pet to your account, uploaded more than 7 documents per pet, or uploaded more than 20 photos per pet.
  • This is your first time subscribing to Pawdara Premium.

The 48-hour refund policy applies to pet owner Premium subscriptions only. See Section 2 for clinic subscription refund terms.

To request a refund under this policy, email support@pawdara.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email address. We will process eligible refunds within 5 business days.

5. What Happens to Your Data

Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data. All pet records, documents, photos, and health history remain in your account. Some Premium features will be locked but all your data is preserved. If you resubscribe, everything is restored instantly.

6. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscribers who cancel are not eligible for prorated refunds for unused months. The 48-hour new subscriber refund policy applies to annual subscriptions as well.

7. Exceptions

We review refund requests outside this policy on a case-by-case basis. To request an exception, contact support@pawdara.com. We reserve the right to approve or deny exception requests at our sole discretion. Exception requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge in question. Exception review may take up to 5 business days beyond the standard refund processing time.

8. App Store Purchases

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refunds are handled by Apple or Google directly and are subject to their refund policies. Pawdara cannot process refunds for app store purchases.

9. Currency

Refunds are processed in the same currency in which the original payment was made. Canadian users who paid in CAD will receive refunds in CAD. US users who paid in USD will receive refunds in USD. Currency conversion rates are not guaranteed and Pawdara is not responsible for exchange rate differences.
