Request Data Deletion

Your Right to Deletion

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Pawdara.

What Gets Deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your account and login credentials
  • Profile information (name, email, phone, avatar)
  • All pet profiles and associated records
  • Timeline entries (vaccinations, visits, lab results, etc.)
  • Uploaded documents and photos
  • Reminders and notification preferences
  • Co-owner and family sharing relationships

What Is Retained

Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate compliance purposes:

  • Anonymized audit logs (required for veterinary clinic compliance)
  • Any data we are legally obligated to retain under applicable regulations
  • Transaction and billing records as required by financial regulations

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to privacy@pawdara.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

Already signed in? Open the Pawdara mobile app → Profile → Delete my account, or (for clinic admins) the clinic portal → Settings → Delete clinic account.

Processing Time

Your deletion request will be processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.
